Meet Xaylen Asher Richard, a 19-month-old described by his mother as a "happy bowling ball" due to his enormous size.
Xaylen, 19 months old, weighs more than 2 kilos
Salitza Richard, 31, of Dallas, Texas, was concerned about her youngest son's health because of how quickly he grew after birth.
Despite being a typical eight-pound 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 to 𝑏𝑖𝑟𝑡ℎ, he has grown at an astonishing rate and is now able to fit into clothes meant for 12-18 month olds at just six months of age. As a result, he can already share clothes with his four-year-old brother Judah, despite the clear age difference.
Athlete Salitza's coach jokes that her size and the fact that it took her a long time to start walking gave her a much stronger popsicle.
Xaylen has already been picked for sports teams, and Salitza knows her son will grow tall when he gets older.
Salitza recalled, “It was noticeable how quickly he grew.” He was at 100 percentile every time we went to the doctor.

'People will ask us how we got such a Ƅig 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦, and we're so small. I am 5'4 and my husband is 5'9, we already know that he will definitely be taller than us.
'It was funny the first time we went to the doctor after his two-week check-up. He asked us if we were sure we had the right 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 since he always looked older for his age.
'I was worried about his health because I wondered if it was healthy for 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 to be as fat as him, and she said everything was perfect.
The mother described it as "owl-like" and said it had improved her biceps
I have an older son who was the exact opposite, he was always in the bottom percentile. My oldest son, Judah, is four and Xaylen is just over a year old and they now wear the same size clothes.
«The pace at which it is growing is crazy. I had some clothes that he wore when Judah was younger, but I have to keep changing sizes and changing so often.

'When he was one month old he wore three to six month old clothes. When she was three months old she wore six- to nine-month clothes, and when she was six months old she wore eighteen-month clothes, and now she has three-year clothes.'
Salitza thinks her son's size has reduced his ability to walk, but now that he can run around, he loves it.
He said: 'People always think I'm older than him. He is so fat that he now weighs 31 pounds and Judah currently weighs 32 pounds.
'He is very busy growing and walking as he only started walking a few days ago. Judah started walking for the first time at 10 months and Xaylen at 18 months, I think it's due to his size, it all went away a few months ago.
"I'm definitely having a bit of a problem with him, since he wasn't walking until recently, I'd be dying to go places like we would have to see him, although I couldn't have held out for long because it was too much."
'It's really a turning point now that he's finally walking. He was so excited too. It was strange because during the night he got deformed, he started taking a few steps and now, a few days later, he is running.
Despite the age difference, he can wear his four-year-old brother's clothes
“Besides he doesn't really understand: he runs towards Judah and Judah will be the one crying.” He is ɩіteгаɩɩу like a bird, he is so happy.
'If you give him food he's happy, he's so calm, and he eats a lot, he eats his food and then he'll eat whatever Judah leaves and then he'll try to eat more. He's not picky.
'People who don't know him and don't see him will comment that he's a big 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦, but our friends and everyone are in chaos, especially because our first one was so small, so it's the complete opposite.
'I agree with people when they make comments. I'm just as shocked as they are, and I'm like, "I don't know what's going on, we're just moving on," it's been a fun journey so far with the differences and experiencing the complete difference.
"One time we were going on vacation and they stopped me and I asked to buy him a ticket for a seat because they didn't believe he was less than a year old, let's say he was two years old, which is the age for a 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 to have a seat on a plane.
“They asked us if he was too old to even be on my lap.”
Xaylen is already considered a future athlete, with his statue and his happy flight, all ideal qualities for American soccer.

“My husband works with NFL athletes and people are already saying to start testing him and get him on the team now,” Salitza said.
“I also work with a lot of high schools, and they say they want him as a player on their teams, so he's already been drafted, it's fun.”
