Niamh and Jeff Qυiпlaп, both 37 years old from Dυbliп, had faced the heartbreaking challenge of iпfertility. They had spent over €43,000 on fertility treatments, achieving five successful cycles of in vitro fertilization (IVF) over several years. The couple had even considered surrogacy as they had almost given up hope of conceiving a child. Niamh's father and stepmother, deeply moved by their difficulties, decided to provide financial support for a trust attempt at IVF.
Their last ditch effort proved to be a success and, last December, Niamh and Jeff welcomed their three beautiful little girls, Molly, Chloe and Mega, into the world.
Niamh initially thought her chances of becoming a mother were bleak, but her father's gift of 7,600 euros ($8,400) has rekindled hope. The joyful revelation that she was pregnant with his triplets left her amazed and scared about the high risk of her pregnancy.
After overcoming multiple failed IVF cycles and overcoming miscarriages, Niamh's father, Michael Foley, couldn't bear to see his daughter go through such hardships. In a sincere gesture, he provided the official measures for further IVF attempts.
The couple took a chance and, despite Niamh's doubts, decided to give it one last try with their frozen embryos. The expectations of a successful pregnancy, which ultimately revealed triplets, filled them with joy and trepidation. The high-risk pregnancy ended with the birth of their three daughters, Molly, Chloe and Mega, who were delivered prematurely via emergency caesarean section at Coombe Wome Hospital in Dübli, with each child requiring therapeutic care at neonatal intensive care.
