Chahat Kυmar weighs a whopping 38 pounds, the same as an average four-year-old

A MORBIDLY obese little girl has baffled doctors - weighing a whopping 38lbs.
Chahat Kυmar of Pυпjab, eight months old, Iпdia was of average weight, but started dancing at the age of four months.

The baby apparently weighs 1.7 pounds, the same as an average four-year-old.
Dad Sυraj Kυmar, 23, said: “When Chahat was born, she was completely formal. Then, slowly we saw that her weight was increasing dramatically.
"His weight is increasing day by day."
Her parents are baffled by what is happening to their daughter's insatiable appetite and are worried about her health

Chahat's mother, Reepa, 21, explained: “Before Chahat, we had a son who died, and Chahat was born. I'm worried about his health.
Worried Reepa, who lost her first baby during childbirth, estimates that Chahat eats four times the amount of food as a normal-sized baby her age.
He said: “She doesn't eat like a normal child. Keep eating all the time. If we don't feed her, she starts to cry.
“She cries to go out but her weight is too much and we can't pick her up. So we just take it to nearby places.

Reepa ha spiegato: “Non abbiamo abbastanza soldi per il suo trattamento, ma facciamo del nostro meglio per assicurarci che guarisca. Ma il problema è con il suo skip. La sua ferita è così dura che i medici non sono riusciti a prelevare un campione dal suo corpo”.
Il medico di Kυmar, Vasυdev Sharma, ha confermato che la difficoltà nel prelievo di campioni di sangue ha reso molto difficile la diagnosi medica.

Ha detto: “Questo è il primo caso che vedo nella mia vita in cui il peso di un bambino è aumentato così tanto da quattro a cinque mesi dopo la nascita.
“Ma non è stato possibile eseguire l'esame del sangue perché il grasso sul corpo del bambino era eccessivo e, per questo motivo, l'esame del sangue non è stato eseguito correttamente.
“Ci abbiamo provato molte volte. Il suo salto è così difficile che non riusciremo mai a diagnosticare la sua coditio.
Il dottor Sharma ha raccomandato alla famiglia di farsi visitare da uno specialista pediatrico presso l'Ospedale Civile di Amritsar, ma le restrizioni fiscali della famiglia lo hanno finora reso impossibile.

But Dr Sharma is certain that Chahat's growing size needs to be addressed.
She said: “His weight is increasing excessively and needs to be controlled.
“He must eat less. Eat like a 10 year old.
And while the family searches for answers, mother Reepa dreams of her daughter having a brighter future.
He said: “We are waiting for Chahat to be able to play like normal children. We do not expect her to have any difficulties in the future.
“We look forward to a good future for her.”
Another baby who weighed abnormally was little Bria Liddle, one of the largest babies ever born in Australia.
Last year, obese children in India who underwent weight-loss surgery paid for by health workers remained bigger than ever after treatment failure.
